Rosana Núñez, The Winner
Rosana Núñez, from San Antonio, Texas, is the new winner of the AOL Latino contest ponsored by 'Pasa la Belleza'.
"I want to jump for joy! God bless you all!" exclaimed Rosana when she heard the news that she won the grand prize. Rosana found out about the contest by navigating around AOL, her internet provider. "I visited lots of web pages, I went there and by a coincidence, something grabbed me. I love to look at women's things." Rosana sent her photo, and she decribed herself as "I'm a little overweight and my hair needs a good makeover."
The winner of the contest will receive a beauty consultation by the 'stylist to the stars' Leonardo Rocco, in Miami. Rosana will travel to Miami where the expert stylist will do her makeup and hair to help heighten her beauty.
"I'm very feminine and a flirt, but I don't have any time for myself between motherhood and my job ... I never thought I'd win."
Rosana, who studied Industrial Engineering, has a 5-year-old daughter, Melanie Sofía Escobar and she works at the Trinity School daycare and preschool, so that she can be with her daughter.
She is with her daughter all the time, and the rest of her loved ones live in México. "My family is in México, in Veracruz... the majority of them are in Michoacán, and they all know about the contest. Rosana said that she won thanks to the support that she received from her friends and family.
"My parents are not alive, and with God's will someday I might marry. Negative things have happened to me in the past, and this is a gift. I thought, My goodness, perhaps there is something good for me, and it came!"
